Marco Polo Airport transfers

Needed some transport from the city to the airport but didn't really want to get the train or bus as we were staying in St Marks square which is a long way from the stations. Easy to book online and compared to a taxi at 200 Euros it's geat value at 70Euros for two people. They pick up from the taxi rank and we're on time with a friendly reception. The boats hold about 10-12 people but plenty of room, the trip takes about 50 minutes to the airport from where we got on which is the furthest stop and picks others up on the way. Well recommended

Everything was smooth, went to the counter, expedited us to a boat, and we were on our way.

The information about the meeting point and time came as announced. The departure was punctual and quick. The cab was not overloaded. You could have chosen the meeting point closer to the hotel, but that is probably often not possible in terms of coordination.

Loved this option for getting to Venice! Just remember to print out your voucher. At the airport follow the signs for the water taxi. A gentle easing into your trip, it's about 2hrs from the airport to San Marco Giardinetti for €18.

Staff on the ship very attentive, warning at every stop, and very friendly helping with luggage. If we return to this airport we will take it without hesitation.

Very well explained and common sense approach to booking. Showed up at counter asked for tickets and was directed where to go.

The journey was fantastic except for the fact that we were leaving Venice for the airport instead of leaving the airport for Venice (all good things must end 😀). Only thing that would make this better is if I didn't have to trade my voucher in for an actual ticket, should be able to purchase the water bus ticket right on the app and have the ticket contained within, small inconvenience but not something that would stop me from using Headout again.

Took longer than expected to reach our stop in Venice . Could not really see out of the windows of boat unless standing up.

It was a quick trip to the airport from our hotel. More direction is needed to obtain the paper ticket needed for boarding from the correct office.

Everything was totally easy! Booking via smartphone and exchanging for analog tickets at the airport worked perfectly. We really enjoyed getting into the mood for our stay by crossing the water to San Marco.

Arriving by sea...

This is a perfect ride, you will have everything from waves and tickle in the stomach to a magnificent view of old Venice. The driver was polite and gave some great info. Best transport from the airport to in our case Hilton, 30 minute ride.

The private water taxi that we paid for never came to pick us up at the 3:30 AM meeting spot designated on our confirmation email!!! The contact person on our confirmation email never answered. We contacted the main customer support who also tried to contact him and find out where the taxi was. She was unsuccessful, despite her best efforts. After waiting for 30 minutes, we had to walk with all of our suitcases up and down the stairs of Venice to a car taxi who brought us to the airport. We were fully perspiring and almost missed our flight. This was a horrible and unacceptable experience. I sent an email to request a refund, and have not heard back yet.

Very easy procedure and the boat driver was right there in the dock number as specified. Much easier than about 10 years ago when you had to walk outside (in all kinds of weather) to get to the boat at the dock. This is a huge improvement!

It was so efficient and took all the anxiety out of the Venice airport trips. Cannot find any faults. Would definitely recommend!

The ride was excellent and fast. Not cheep, as it cost euro 180 and there were only 2 of us, but it could have taken up to 6 so if you have a group its a no-brainer. Our hotel was back in the winding streets, and it seems they only really pick-up from the grand canal or the docks by the Doges palace. Would easily have been 5 stars if not for the 15 min walk with my luggage.

Being able to hop on and off the water buses at any time allowed me to see so many beautiful areas, from the Grand Canal to the smaller islands, without worrying about buying separate tickets each time. One highlight was taking the boat out to Lido and spending time at the beach – such a relaxing change of pace from the busy canals. The views from the boat were incredible, the rides felt smooth, and it was also fun to be among both locals and travelers enjoying the city. This pass truly made the trip memorable and gave me the freedom to enjoy Venice at my own pace.

Very easy to redeem at the machine and validate at the stands. With the ticket we were able to visit Lido and Murano on different days without stress. It was also nice to just drive around the island without having to pay extra for tour water buses.

the fact that you don't have to ask too many questions to optimize your trip is great, and even if you take the wrong vaporetto, you'll quickly find another one. It's not always easy to find the one you're looking for (Murano and Burano, for example), so not thinking you've paid for a trip for nothing is a big plus.

You can just get in and "ship" off without thinking twice. Unfortunately, the vaporettos were on strike when we arrived, so we had to walk everything with our suitcases 😬.

Easy to book, easy to print out from Actv Automat, enough automats around. The vaporetto line 1 is perfect to reach all must have Seen sightseeing Points Like Marcus place or Rialti bridge and Lido etc. For explorer a must have for small Budget.

I had a very pleasant experience with the vaporetto in Venice. It is the most practical and authentic way to get around the city, and the views from the Grand Canal are simply spectacular. I appreciated the punctuality, the frequency of the rides, and the fact that it is easy to understand even for tourists. It was also a special feeling to ride alongside the locals, feeling the real pulse of the city. I recommend anyone visiting Venice to try the vaporetto at least once – it is not just transportation, but part of the Venetian charm.

Friendly welcome...punctuality and help with vending machines

Everything was ok. The only thing that was a bit complicated was finding the right spot where the bus stops and the which was the exact bus to take. Also, it is very important to remark the importance of a reminder of priting the tickets as I did not know it and one of the drivers did not allow me to get in the bus.

Everything worked great at the ticket machine, but not on the bus when it came to scanning, but the bus driver let us go anyway

The driver had a catastrophically risky driving style. The journey went from Venice to the airport at approx. 9.25 AM on 9.4.

I could not get the bus tickets to the airport due to lack of information or incorrect data, I had to pay for two new tickets and I almost missed the plane.

I had a problem converting the voucher ticket into a ticket for a round-trip reservation at Venice airport/plaza romana. On the outward journey, the tickets didn't work (red light with beep activity when switching to the ticket reader). The driver let us on the bus. On the way back, same story, except that we had a control and were fined 100 euros. A very bad experience indeed.

It was easy to find, the lady at the ticket counter was very friendly and helpful. The bus ride was smooth and took about 15 mins.

ticket price was reasonable but I did it from the US weeks berfore and nevertheless had tgo enter the PNR code to get the actuial ticket Since I did everything from home including payment I should have been able to download the ticket and just give it to the driver It did not save me any tgime3
