It is very easy to use. You go to the vendor machine at the pier which they provided, and scan the QR code then you can take the ticket. Having the ticket, you do not need to worry about the transportation, you can travel anywhere except the airport line and some designated routes.

Entry was very easy, received physical tickets. Doges palace itself was one of the most impressive displays of art I've seen throughout Europe. You could easily spend hours wandering the palace. The Amory was also surreal. All pieces were authentic and used through history. Audio guide is through an app on your phone so bring headphones if you can.

On the first day we entered Venice and saw the Doges Palace, we realized that we had to see it. When we entered, I was immediately amazed. The building was beautiful, the details were amazing, and the ceiling was the most impressive, which was wonderfully painted. Thank you for this pleasure.

Sadly others in the group were late which made our tour very short. Our guide focused on one Canadian gentleman and directed everything to him. It could have been a good deal better

St.Mark's Square | About

St. Mark Square, the heart of the floating city, in Italian colloquial language is also known as the Piazza San Marco. It is the biggest and most impressive square in the city and acts as a tourist magnet for Venice.

As coined by Napoleon, it is "the drawing room of Europe" and gets its name inspiration from the stellar Basilica San Marco or St Mark’s Basilica, situated on the east end of the square. The Basilica di San Marco and its flurry of magnificent domes and arches are located on the square's fourth side, and other significant arcades and state-of-the-art buildings encircle the square's other three sides.

Why Visit St Mark's Square?

St Mark's Square

Find yourself amidst stunning buildings: St. Mark's Square is surrounded by magnificent architecture on all sides. The Doge’s Palace, the Bell Tower, and the Basilica San Marco are a few of the area's prominent attractions.

Do some café hopping: Caffe Florian and Caffe Quadri, the two famous cafés on the square, offer plenty of old-world charm and are the best places to soak up the ambiance of Venice.

Soak in some breathtaking views from the Campanile di San Marco: The brick Campanile di San Marco is the tallest structure in Venice, at 98.6 metres high.
