Amazing, we liked our captain and how highly experienced he was
The tour itself was great as was a the gondola ride! Both the guide and the gondolier were very pleasant. Our issue was with the male staff member at your meeting point. Admittedly, we were late for the tour as we had trouble navigating from our cruise ship to the meeting point. When I asked him where we could meet them, he very reluctantly gave me an address for my google maps and sent us on our way WITHOUT THE HEADSET. His complete attitude from the first moment was rude and condescending.
Marco, our waking tour guide was amazing. His dry wit made the tour super enjoyable. We also enjoyed the gondola ride, we had great weather for it!
The walking tour was very interesting, but the gondola tour was terrible, the gondolier didn't even say hello during the ride.
A very informative tour away from the main attractions.
Ticketing and walking tour was good. Gondola ride was so-so.
It was a great experience and very informativ
The tour guide never showed up & we were very disappointed. We waited for over an hour & asked 10 different people if that was the correct location & we confirmed we were at the correct address & no guide showed. I would appreciate a refund since we were left abandoned waiting for someone to show up. Very unprofessional! We are very disappointed & I spent good money on a tour that didn't happen. Show
The meeting point wasn't specific. The maps gave us two different locations, so we kept going back and forth trying to find the group. At one point, we were at the right spot 5 minutes before the tour started, but I guess the group left early. The tour guide should’ve had a flag or worn specific clothing. My friend and I are still waiting for a refund.
The city tour was excellent! Unfortunately the gondola ride was disappointing, the gondolier was very unfriendly and obviously didn't feel like it.
The city tour was competent and very informative, entertaining and fun. The technology worked well and the guide was easy to understand. The pace of the tour was appropriate. The subsequent gondola ride was somewhat shortened and not the route as advertised but quite okay.
I took the train up from Florence to spend the day in Venice. The walking tour was quite informative, and our guide was very knowledgeable and quite pleasant she kept us altogether in the crowded streets of Venice. The gondola ride was quite nice. It was a very good way to check out Venice in a day.
Awesome experience!!!..........
Very good experience and good attention from everyone, we loved it!
Enjoy some of Venice's best sights on foot and by boat, from St. Mark's Square to Rialto Bridge and Fenice Theater.

Our guide, Andrea, was very knowledgeable. It was a very picturesque walk through the city. The gondola ride was very unique and a great photo opportunity.
Valentina was a wonderful guide. She was very knowledgeable, engaging and easy to understand. We had a lot of fun and I feel like we learned a lot! This was probably my favorite walking tour while traveling Italy! Valentina then took us to meet up with Riccardo, the guide who led us to the Gondola ride. Born and raised in Venice, he really knew his stuff. He was an incredibly intelligent young man who answered all of our questions! He also had a wonderful sense of humor. Thank you Valentina, Riccardo and our Gondolier for a great morning!
Amazing experience, much much cheaper, Gondola ride was fantastic. Venice town tour was great, lot of nice places visited. Very recommend to everyone. Thank you.
I liked the gondola ride and the guide for that ride. He was speaking English rather well, he was funny, chatismatic and he told us interesting things. However, the walking tour guide, Francesco, didn't have more than a basic knowledge of English. Moreover, he talked partly in Italian and partly in English. So it was not an entirely English speaking guided tour as I expected. For my taste, what he said was rather basic. There were not that many interesting insights or anecdotes into Venetian history, culture and architecture. But he did show us areas of Venice that we would not have found on our own. Overall,a nice experience.
These tickets are worth it, make sure to experience Gondola like a true Gondolier by walking the streets and taking in the culture
This tour is pretty awesome, our tour guide was very professional and informative as he walked us through Venice’s most stunning attractions
Whenever I go to a new city, the first thing I do is try to immerse myself into the local culture: and this is exactly what these tickets have to offer: a slice of Venice
Shout out to our tour guide Xavier who did a brilliant job in keeping us updated about all the landmarks, but also making us laugh
The walking tour is really fun, you get to see so many iconic monuments in Venice: my personal favorite part of this tour was when we got to see the Teatro La Fenice. Highly recommend
The best of the floating city in two quintessential Venetian ways – a guided walking tour and a shared gondola tour.

We are very happy we decided to book this tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and very easy to understand. We found it so much better than trying to do it on our own.
Martina is an attentive and passionate guide who described Venice and its history through her Venetian eyes. She shared her knowledge and anecdotes throughout our visit.
A faire aveuglément !! (Ma compagne et moi avons la 40ène).
Valentina was fantastic! She is so knowledgeable and knows so much about the history of Venice! We really enjoyed her tour and would like to have her as a guide again.
The ticketing experience was great. It was easy to get tickets and reserve what we wanted to do along the tour. Separating the walking tour and the guided tours ended up causing some confusion and our group for the guided tour was too large for the tour guide to manage in the crowds in the Basilica. She did an excellent job, but the company placed too many people in her group (she complained about it before we got started) and it distracted from the tour in several situations along the way.

Very well organized. Our guide explained the history of the Doges' palace with passion. It was interesting. I recommend it.
Phillipo was a terrific guide and we learnt lots from him about Venice and its history. It was great in a smaller group and to be in the palace with not too many other people. Going from the bottom prisons through to all the levels of government was a great way to understand the system
My wife and I, having arrived in Venice by train only ninety minutes earlier, at the height of our excitement already along the water cab ride to the landing on the Riva degli Schiavoni, at fifteen o'clock on May 18, 2025, move from the nearby hotel to the place agreed upon when we purchased tickets online for direct access to the magnificent monument. One of the efficient and courteous young people at the Tour Shop in Campo San Zaccaria escorts to the southern portico of the Doges' Palace the group of those who, like us, had booked the tour and entrusts them to the various experts, depending on the nationalities of those present. Professional and clear, our Italian guide begins by telling us about the symbolic value, for the city, of Mars and Neptune, whose statues stand in the courtyard at the top of the Scala dei Giganti: the two classical deities are expressions of Venice's power both on land and sea. We ascend to the Gothic loggia, then to the first piano nobile-formerly the Doge's residence-along the Golden Staircase, so named for the gleam of the gold-leaf coverings of its stucco decorations. We continue our visit to the second piano nobile and contemplate the sumptuous vaulting of the Sala del Collegio, embellished with paintings by Paolo Veronese, completed in 1578. Between the two figures of Mars and Neptune is painted the winged lion of St. Mark, symbol of the lagoon city. The "Venetian blond" that characterizes the hair of female figures is highlighted, for example in the allegory of Dialectic, shown in the act of weaving a spider web. "Venetian terrazzo" is the mixture of cement and stone fragments that has been used in the city for floors over the centuries; our guide tells us about it as we stand in the enormous Great Council Chamber. Here, on an entire wall we admire Jacopo Tintoretto's Il Paradiso (Paradise), completed in 1592, crowded with characters, painted - the guide explains to us - on a single 24-and-a-half-foot-long canvas, specially made to be woven by the master. The black panel in the frieze of the doges represents the "damnatio memoriæ" of Marino Faliero, who was beheaded in 1355 for having wanted to conspire against the city's patriciate, aiming at the establishment of a tyrannical regime. During the passage in the Bridge of Sighs - in which in the past the condemned from the court to the prisons called the Wells passed - our escort tells us about the escape of Giacomo Casanova in 1756 from the Piombi, cells located higher up, under the roof of the palace. I am convinced that it would have been difficult to receive a warmer and more competent "Welcome to Venice!" than the one Headout reserved for my wife and me upon our arrival in the Serenissima.
The welcome at the meeting point was good and friendly. We are very satisfied.
The guide was very interesting and the visit very pleasant. We learned a lot of things really well

The guide was very well informed, and obviously really enjoyed taking the group round. The fast tracking into the basilica was an added bonus
The Basilica was amazing. Beautiful, the view from the terrace is beautiful. If you have the Basilica and Doge tour together, you are no able to visit the terrace.
It was a bit difficult to find the right group in the beginning due to some confusion with the booking. The guide was very competent and friendly.
Tickets were easy to obtain. Guide was informative and very easy to understand. Each group participant had their own headset and it was clear, never lost contact with guide.
Fast track worked well, guide explained well Tour started 20 minutes too late because the agency had printed 2 tickets too few and we had to wait every 20 minutes, which was very tedious
We loved visiting the basilica, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We booked access to the terrace as well which was fabulous, we would definitely recommend this trip
Our guide was fantastic, knowledgeable and kind.
Efficient and effective. Excellent guide
Our guide was so sweet and very informative about the basilica and Venice itself. Would definitely recommend!!!!
The experience was good, but very expensive.
What I loved the most about this experience was the clock tower. Our guide really knew the history well.
Everything was very rushed, impersonal. No time for individual questions, poorly functioning technology.
Small Group, quite good Tour guide.
Very attentive guide. Very good tour.
The guide was very interesting and professional
The guide was excellent. Meeting place was hard to find.
Very knowledgeable guide and on busy days like Easter days having priority entry is essential

We had a ton of trouble finding the office to meet our guide. Google maps wasn't working well and we just kept going in circles around St Mark's Square. We asked military, regular police, and other shop owners for help but ended up finding the office 30 minutes after our tour departed for the Basilica. Thankfully, we were able to catch up to our party in the Basilica. For whatever reason, when going through the Doge Palace, those of us who were going on the gondola ride, had to leave the group and return on our own later to see the rest of the tour. The timing seemed to be too tight. The guide was great, but the timing was just off for the whole day. When we went on the gondola, the gondolier spent the whole time yelling at the other gondoliers and joking with them. It was like a bad Disneyland ride. We were one gondola after another just making a circle back to the meeting point. I think the only thing that was pointed out to us was where Mozart had stayed.
Really enjoyed the tour and liked our tour Guido Gloria
The well-organized tour allows you to visit the main attractions of Venice in one day. Very knowledgeable tour guides. Recommended!
The audio downloads are a nice compliment to the tour.
We had the chance to See many venues and sightseeing. In my opinion the islands need some more time to discover them adequately
Giovana was the loveliest guide you could wish for. Her excitement, despite having likely done hundreds of these tours, was contagious. She paid great attention to detail while also ensuring that every person in the group felt included. The equipment quality was excellent, with clear audio throughout the tour. Giovana provided just the right balance of historical context and insights into current life and events. We loved every moment. Our gondolier was also praiseworthy. Despite being a young man, he was knowledgeable without being overbearing. Although we can’t recall his name, the boat was called ‘Luca,’ and he was stepping in for his father. A delightful experience with a charming young man.
The guide was excellent and everything was great until the end. When we went on our gondola ride we did not go by the bridge of sigh and the gondolier was on his phone the whole time. Not only was it bad enough that he was on the phone, he had it on speaker so we could hear the woman he was talking too. Missing out on the bridge and the phone ruined the entire experience.
The Tour Guy was the company we should have booked with - avoid Headout (a broker). The website on mobile when I booked put the wrong date - the Crowdsite glitch also happened and the site booked the tour time+day AFTER it already happened! HEADOUT REFUSED TO CHANGE IT! Luckily THE TOUR GUY CHANGED IT. AVOID HEADOUT. As for the tour, Venice is such a unique, magical place. Our guide was a lovely local Venetian, a professor-like lady and had tons of information - she was kind and very considerate. She gave us the basics of all we needed to know. I think we might have preferred a guide with more stories and less facts and who was a little more fluent in English - it was often hard to understand everything. Also, try avoid Italy in the summer, the heat is unbearable and we underestimated this. Bring lots of water and a fan or spray mist bottle. Crazy heat! Climate change not doing places like Rome and Venice any favours! The overall experience was the best it could've been, it was good.
