Great experience, so glad we did it. Lots of information provided about gondolas and gondoliers. A very smooth experience from start to finish, we loved it. Our guide and gondolier were brilliant!

The description said that the experience would last 50 minutes but it lasted maybe 20 max. The line to get on the gondola was very long and so we didn't actually get on one until 2:25 (was supposed to be 2) and then it was done by 2:45. It's fine if it's only 20 minutes, but then you should advertise it as such

The ride was said to be with live commentary in Spanish but it was not and it lasted less than 50 minutes...still good because the gondola ride is unique but I would not repeat here.

While we booked an English speaking your. We were grouped with a spanish/English guide. I felt that the English translation was brief and rush through not providing all of the same information. The audio speakers were very crackled and we were unable to hear fully.

Beautiful experience, it makes you seeVenice from a totally different point of view. The girl who was our guide (bilingual tour) was very nice and friendly, not only introduced the gondola experience, but told some interesting facts about the city and the areas visited. Nice and really skillful gondolier, he also reserved some "tidbits" for us. All concluded with the virtual reality experience in a different historical context, which was a nice icing on the cake

Enjoyable gondola experience. The ride allows you to see Venice from another point of view, which is essential to appreciate the city by passing through the city's alleys. During the ride, you also pass under the many bridges, making the 'experience relaxing and and unique. Recommended experience to have when coming to Venice.

It was quite a good experience, but sometimes you can think that this trip is not for you. This islands are really small and have almost nothing special. In case you want to buy some souvenirs from glass, the Murano island is perfect for that. The Torcello island totally not worth to visit, it has one church and it is it. The Burano island is colorful, abd contains a lot of tiny streets, you can take some great photos and eat some sweets. It has a lot of souvenirs stores. The rral time on each island is 50 minutes, but it is more than enough to walk around.

Very nice to see the islands quickly. It says 75minutes per island but it was only 45, we didn't have much time to visit the cities. 30€ is for the boat only, no activity is prepared, it's only free time (except for glass blowing demonstration). The guide was nice but the microphone was way too loud.

Beautiful tour and great price. However, it was not specified that at the meeting point we needed to go to the ticket office, rather I expected a recognizable person to take us directly to the boat. In addition, I had changed the time a week before with confirmation email and new tickets, but at the ticket office they told me we were marked for the earlier time and I by showing the new tickets I am told "the tickets say what they want". The guide unfortunately cannot hear well when he speaks in the boat.

Our tour guide was awesome. Our tour began at 8:00 and we entered Doge palace around 8:30 and we were the first group in and we had no crowds at all. Our guide was very knowledgeable and knew a great detail of history. On to St Mark basilica and although it was crowded inside we made our way to the 2nd floor and was able to take great pictures without any crowds. We then when outside for a beautiful view of the piazza. Was fantastic and highly recommend this tour and tour guide and company.

My wife and I, having arrived in Venice by train only ninety minutes earlier, at the height of our excitement already along the water cab ride to the landing on the Riva degli Schiavoni, at fifteen o'clock on May 18, 2025, move from the nearby hotel to the place agreed upon when we purchased tickets online for direct access to the magnificent monument. One of the efficient and courteous young people at the Tour Shop in Campo San Zaccaria escorts to the southern portico of the Doges' Palace the group of those who, like us, had booked the tour and entrusts them to the various experts, depending on the nationalities of those present. Professional and clear, our Italian guide begins by telling us about the symbolic value, for the city, of Mars and Neptune, whose statues stand in the courtyard at the top of the Scala dei Giganti: the two classical deities are expressions of Venice's power both on land and sea. We ascend to the Gothic loggia, then to the first piano nobile-formerly the Doge's residence-along the Golden Staircase, so named for the gleam of the gold-leaf coverings of its stucco decorations. We continue our visit to the second piano nobile and contemplate the sumptuous vaulting of the Sala del Collegio, embellished with paintings by Paolo Veronese, completed in 1578. Between the two figures of Mars and Neptune is painted the winged lion of St. Mark, symbol of the lagoon city. The "Venetian blond" that characterizes the hair of female figures is highlighted, for example in the allegory of Dialectic, shown in the act of weaving a spider web. "Venetian terrazzo" is the mixture of cement and stone fragments that has been used in the city for floors over the centuries; our guide tells us about it as we stand in the enormous Great Council Chamber. Here, on an entire wall we admire Jacopo Tintoretto's Il Paradiso (Paradise), completed in 1592, crowded with characters, painted - the guide explains to us - on a single 24-and-a-half-foot-long canvas, specially made to be woven by the master. The black panel in the frieze of the doges represents the "damnatio memoriæ" of Marino Faliero, who was beheaded in 1355 for having wanted to conspire against the city's patriciate, aiming at the establishment of a tyrannical regime. During the passage in the Bridge of Sighs - in which in the past the condemned from the court to the prisons called the Wells passed - our escort tells us about the escape of Giacomo Casanova in 1756 from the Piombi, cells located higher up, under the roof of the palace. I am convinced that it would have been difficult to receive a warmer and more competent "Welcome to Venice!" than the one Headout reserved for my wife and me upon our arrival in the Serenissima.

There was no guide in person. There was only one multilingual person on the boat through a loudspeaker. I got on the boat without knowing if I was getting on the right one. A meeting point was marked, but there was no guide to direct and guide me.

We have not got the service at all. We came 30 minutes before the tour (as it was mentioned in the voucher) , we were waiting at the meeting point for 3 hours. but the guide was telling us to wait for another boat, but have not offered it at all and we couldn't wait for more hours. And now we are trying to get our money back, but the process is very long - we will not offer to use your company anymore - it was the worst expierence at all.

There was no audio device and the guide used a mic on a moving bus with 100 people making it very difficult to listen to the guide. There were no recommendations, no history about the place and the tour specifically mentioned audio guide but there was no audio device like other tours across Europe.

Beautiful excursion! Highly recommended.

Tour Venice's top two islands—live demo, onboard audio guide, and round-trip boat transfers.

  • Day out to the Murano and Burano islands on a scenic boat cruise from St. Mark’s Square or Venice Railway Station, with indoor and open-deck seating. Fits perfectly into short stays.
  • You’ll get an immersive audio commentary in five languages about the charming floating city and its stunning lagoons, a live glassblowing demonstration in Murano, and self-guided time to explore Burano’s colorful lanes and lace shops.
  • Murano: Step inside a traditional furnace to watch artisans craft glass art using centuries‑old techniques.
  • Burano: Wander between radiant colorful houses, sample local biscotti, and browse authentic lace boutiques.

Inclusions

  • Visit to Murano and Burano Islands
  • Round-trip boat transfer from St. Mark's Square or Venice Railway Station (as per option selected)
  • Glass blowing demonstration in Murano
  • Onboard audio guide in English, Italian, French, Spanish, and German

Exclusions

  • Entry to museums or attractions not mentioned
    • Meals and personal expenses
    • Live tour guide
    • Hotel transfers
  • This tour is not wheelchair accessible due to uneven terrain and boat boarding steps.
  • Be sure to arrive on time as the boat departs promptly at the scheduled times. Late arrivals may miss the boat.
  • The boat has a large capacity (100–200 guests) and does not offer a live guide.
  • Glassblowing demo in Murano lasts ~30 minutes; rest is self-guided exploration. The visit also includes a 10% discount on purchases at the showroom.
  • There are no strict dress codes, but comfortable footwear is recommended due to the walking tours on Murano and Burano islands. Always bring a jacket or sun protection, depending on the season.
  • Children aged 0-5 travel for free. Pets are not permitted on the boat.
  • Smoking is prohibited onboard for safety reasons.
  • The tour operates in all weather conditions, but heavy storms may result in cancellations or schedule changes. Always check the weather forecast closer to your departure date.

It is a good tour, everything depends on your guide. You will not get tired, since the walking part is taking approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. After the guided tour we had a gondola ride. This totally worth it to try. It can be better, than taking a separate gondola ride (from price perspective), because this tour might cost 45 euros, but the inly one gondola ride is 39 euro.

The tour itself was great as was a the gondola ride! Both the guide and the gondolier were very pleasant. Our issue was with the male staff member at your meeting point. Admittedly, we were late for the tour as we had trouble navigating from our cruise ship to the meeting point. When I asked him where we could meet them, he very reluctantly gave me an address for my google maps and sent us on our way WITHOUT THE HEADSET. His complete attitude from the first moment was rude and condescending.

The meeting point wasn't specific. The maps gave us two different locations, so we kept going back and forth trying to find the group. At one point, we were at the right spot 5 minutes before the tour started, but I guess the group left early. The tour guide should’ve had a flag or worn specific clothing. We had a ton of trouble finding the office to meet our guide. Google maps wasn't working well and we just kept going in circles around St Mark's Square. We asked military, regular police, and other shop owners for help but ended up finding the office 30 minutes after our tour departed for the Basilica. Thankfully, we were able to catch up to our party in the Basilica. For whatever reason, when going through the Doge Palace, those of us who were going on the gondola ride, had to leave the group and return on our own later to see the rest of the tour. The timing seemed to be too tight. The guide was great, but the timing was just off for the whole day. When we went on the gondola, the gondolier spent the whole time yelling at the other gondoliers and joking with them. It was like a bad Disneyland ride. We were one gondola after another just making a circle back to the meeting point. I think the only thing that was pointed out to us was where Mozart had stayed.

Giovana was the loveliest guide you could wish for. Her excitement, despite having likely done hundreds of these tours, was contagious. She paid great attention to detail while also ensuring that every person in the group felt included. The equipment quality was excellent, with clear audio throughout the tour. Giovana provided just the right balance of historical context and insights into current life and events. We loved every moment. Our gondolier was also praiseworthy. Despite being a young man, he was knowledgeable without being overbearing. Although we can’t recall his name, the boat was called ‘Luca,’ and he was stepping in for his father. A delightful experience with a charming young man.

The guide was excellent and everything was great until the end. When we went on our gondola ride we did not go by the bridge of sigh and the gondolier was on his phone the whole time. Not only was it bad enough that he was on the phone, he had it on speaker so we could hear the woman he was talking too. Missing out on the bridge and the phone ruined the entire experience.

The ticketing experience was great. It was easy to get tickets and reserve what we wanted to do along the tour. Separating the walking tour and the guided tours ended up causing some confusion and our group for the guided tour was too large for the tour guide to manage in the crowds in the Basilica. She did an excellent job, but the company placed too many people in her group (she complained about it before we got started) and it distracted from the tour in several situations along the way.

The visit to the glass factory was interesting but most of the time was allowed to visit the shop to buy things. The free time to explore the area was not enough

When we went into the booking it said to "show inclusions &important information". I went into this and scrolled down the bottom and it showed "where" with a map which showed "ponte della libertarian" we spent 2 hours looking for the spot. We finally realised we met near st Marks cathedral. We got our own way over hoping that the tour leader would ring like the lovely girl in Amsterdam did as we were at the back of the place and she asked us to walk around to the front. We were hoping if he rang us we could meet him over there but no phone call so we had to do our own thing. Have used this site before and it was wonderful and easy so a bit disappointed Ted with this.

The best thing was the guide. There was punctuality, the boat was very good although it is divided into two parts and one of them has a strong smell of fuel. In Murano you dock at the dock of a glass factory where they give you explanations about the manufacturing and then you have very little time to get to know Murano. Murano I didn't like but I did want to buy little things but there was very little time. Burano was nicer and I liked that the guide did not force us to visit the lace factory where most of the group went.

our tour guides,Cecilia, and Nichola were amazing. They were both well versed and entertaining. They answered all our questions professionally. We got to Marano visited the glass factory, and had time for a quick stroll. Then Burano we were told the meeting point then brought to the lace demonstration, which is definitely beautiful art. Unfortunately it started to rain and got really windy, but the island looks beautiful even in the rain. I would definitely recommend this tour and if you can get Cecilia and Nicola, you will not be disapointed.
