The gondola ride was memorable. It took about 30 minutes. We did a mini walking tour beforehand and learned some interesting Venice facts. There was also a virtual experience attraction after the gondola ride that we had to miss.
Traditional gondola with a 20 min ride around the smaller canals of Venice. An audio commentary could have made it more enjoyable.
Beautiful experience, it makes you seeVenice from a totally different point of view. The girl who was our guide (bilingual tour) was very nice and friendly, not only introduced the gondola experience, but told some interesting facts about the city and the areas visited. Nice and really skillful gondolier, he also reserved some "tidbits" for us. All concluded with the virtual reality experience in a different historical context, which was a nice icing on the cake

The ride was said to be with live commentary in Spanish but it was not and it lasted less than 50 minutes...still good because the gondola ride is unique but I would not repeat here.

While we booked an English speaking your. We were grouped with a spanish/English guide. I felt that the English translation was brief and rush through not providing all of the same information. The audio speakers were very crackled and we were unable to hear fully.
Planning was good and fast. They all set off at the same time and that's why the gondolas were jammed. This meant you couldn't travel as far. It was still a nice experience, but a start with individual gondolas from the city center would be better

The ticketing experience was very easy, fast and reliable. The gondola ride was really amazing and the boat man was friendly and welcoming. Would definitely do it again 😁
we booked a tour with personal comments but the guide said absolutly nothing. The boad tour was ok and we knew that it would be a busy time of the day but that the guide did not explain anything was not what we expected.
Tour guide very nice and helpful, time frame was different than expected, at the beginning we had doubts whether we were in the right group as we walked past two gondola boarding points without getting on. The ride was entertaining and nice, but it was very crowded, so we had to stand in line and wait a lot in the gondola. We were only given the audio guide when we asked for it. This was when we boarded the gondola, so the download was not quite complete and not all points could be heard. The virtual journey into the Venetian past with VR glasses was very positive, it wasn't booked separately but was very nice and was also offered afterwards. Overall, the gondola ride is to be recommended, it is somehow part of a visit to Venice.

It was by far the best thing I did in Venice & was so inexpensive compared to paying actual Gondola people, well worth the money! There is a 3D tour at the end, was so good!
We really enjoyed the experience. The virtual reality at the beginning was very good and the gondola ride was very nice, the gondolier was very pleasant.
View original review in Spanish
There was nothing standing out from this experience, just a very quiet gondola ride. I understand that this is not a guided tour but the gondolier could have made a warm welcome (he said nothing during the whole ride), talked a bit about what we were seeing and where we were passing (but not a full historical details).
The guide was kind, attentive, and joyful.
Magnificent ride through the canals. Godoluer pilots by the millimeter and whistles beautifully.

Our guide was comical and informative. The ride was very enjoyable.
It was the quintessential tourist experience while in Venice.

St. Mark's Basilica
Doge's Palace
Our guide was absolutely wonderful, incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Venetian art, architecture, politics, and commerce. Tickets to both the Doge's Palace and St Mark's Basilica had already sold out by the time I thought to check, so I'm really glad I was able to see them this way. One tiny little thing - the meet up instructions said that the guide would be holding a particular sign, which they weren't, so I hung back for ages cause I couldn't tell which tour group was mine.
The experience was great, although finding the meeting location was a bit of a challenge ...our guide was very good...spent a good deal of time explaining and answering questions. She was very knowledgeable and threw in lots of stories and theories and susperstitions about the legends. Both St Marks and Doges Palace were worth the tour!
The whole program was as planned, and I thought everything we visited was spectacular, and there was no waiting to enter the monuments.

I like very much the tour guide. She was fantastic!
Our tour guide, Lorenzo, was fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable and created a setting where the history came back to life. I HIGHLY recommend booking the early morning tour before everything gets busy.
The highlight of my visit was the very informative guide, easy to understand , the tour flowed nicely and we were given plenty of time to take pictures
Lorenzo our tour guide was excellent and so knowledgeable, with humour thrown in, the early beat the line and the crowds made this an excellent experience
A bellisima experience in addition to what we visited, the guide was very knowledgeable, capturing our attention even in the moments of stalling in the short lines at the entrance.

Great tour guide, she was very informative and funny as well. It was very busy so a great move to pre book and miss the queues
Gina was an amazing tour guide! She was very knowledgeable and gave a little extra detail we loved her and felt very fortunate to have her as our guide! I have a way better understanding and appreciation for Venice after experiencing this tour.
The tour was very well documented and explained by the local guide. The skip-the-line entry worked perfectly, but inside you cannot avoid the huge crowd of people. At the meeting point please look for the local partner ¨flag¨, that is shown at the bottom of your reservation.
While we managed to ovetcome issues with finding the tour operator- it wasn't through headout as oer instructions, it was with a different local partner. Once we got this out of the way our guide Cristina was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable, beyond expectations. It was delivered in a interesting, full of exciting & details . Highly recommend if you lucky to have Cristina ad your guide.
We had a very nice guided tour through the Doge's Palace and then through the San Marco Basilica. The guide explained all the details and provided us with lots of information. A tip was to attend mass on Sunday morning at 10am or 12pm. A really special experience.
View original review in German
We were shown very little of San Marco. Other guided tours could be seen going up to the gallery level and doing a much more thorough tour of the church. Rather than one hour, we spent only about 20 minutes in the church. In the Doge's Palace, our guide did not give us much information on the art in each room. For instance, she did not mention names of artists, many of whom are quite famous. She gave us anecdotal stories, intended to be entertaining, but, on the whole, her information was quite superficial.
A little problem at the meeting point no Headour banner but was overcome Although we were given digital listening devices because U am slightly deaf found it difficult at times to understand guide. However. Both basilica and palace were extraordinary great experiance
Our guide was really passionate about the subject matter. Her story telling was very captivating and interesting. Thumbs up !!!
We devoted almost an hour to get into the Doge's House, another half hour to use the toilets. The tour was interesting but we felt we could have used more time and get more information at the Basílica. Needs improving.
Daniela is a passionate and fascinating guide. She's Italian but speaks French very well, with her "little" accent. terrific!

Our guide, Valentina, was the best things about the tour. The Doge's Palace and associated history are fascinating. Every time I go, I learn something new. Valentina made the tour fun and engaging. Very interesting to learn more about Venice and it's governance over the ages, especially in light of where we find ourselves in the US these days. Would definitely recommend Headout.
The friendly lady who gave the tour was excellent. She took the time to answer visitors' questions and was humorous at the same time.

I signed up for the mysteries and secrets tour, but I didn't feel like it was presented that way. We joined a tour that was already in progress coming from St Marc's cathedral.
Doges palace is truly spectacular and beautiful to walk around and admire the ceilings and paintings Very disappointed with our guide, rushed from area to area and felt impersonal and an effort to be there. Had specifically booked this trip to learn about the prisons and be taken through the whole palace, tour guide left and no explanation or guide like many other companies and tours were providing.
The guide who took our tour answered all questions and was so friendly
Lucia was a great guide. She is friendly and informative!

There was no guide in person. There was only one multilingual person on the boat through a loudspeaker. I got on the boat without knowing if I was getting on the right one. A meeting point was marked, but there was no guide to direct and guide me.

We have not got the service at all. We came 30 minutes before the tour (as it was mentioned in the voucher) , we were waiting at the meeting point for 3 hours. but the guide was telling us to wait for another boat, but have not offered it at all and we couldn't wait for more hours. And now we are trying to get our money back, but the process is very long - we will not offer to use your company anymore - it was the worst expierence at all.
There was no audio device and the guide used a mic on a moving bus with 100 people making it very difficult to listen to the guide. There were no recommendations, no history about the place and the tour specifically mentioned audio guide but there was no audio device like other tours across Europe.
Beautiful excursion! Highly recommended.

We couldn't reach the location on time, 1) the location link that was shared was incorrect and we had been trying to reach to the support team on the number that was given an hour before the schedules time and there was no response either on whats app or call. Worst experice and it felt like a scam where you have charged someone for the tour but everything else in it was fake
The boat trip, the island of Burano and its restaurants! We didn't like the compulsory glass-blowing session, which we already knew about! And the break on the island of Burano was too short!

Amazing, we liked our captain and how highly experienced he was
The tour itself was great as was a the gondola ride! Both the guide and the gondolier were very pleasant. Our issue was with the male staff member at your meeting point. Admittedly, we were late for the tour as we had trouble navigating from our cruise ship to the meeting point. When I asked him where we could meet them, he very reluctantly gave me an address for my google maps and sent us on our way WITHOUT THE HEADSET. His complete attitude from the first moment was rude and condescending.
Marco, our waking tour guide was amazing. His dry wit made the tour super enjoyable. We also enjoyed the gondola ride, we had great weather for it!
The walking tour was very interesting, but the gondola tour was terrible, the gondolier didn't even say hello during the ride.

Ticketing and walking tour was good. Gondola ride was so-so.
It was a great experience and very informativ
The tour guide never showed up & we were very disappointed. We waited for over an hour & asked 10 different people if that was the correct location & we confirmed we were at the correct address & no guide showed. I would appreciate a refund since we were left abandoned waiting for someone to show up. Very unprofessional! We are very disappointed & I spent good money on a tour that didn't happen. Show
The meeting point wasn't specific. The maps gave us two different locations, so we kept going back and forth trying to find the group. At one point, we were at the right spot 5 minutes before the tour started, but I guess the group left early. The tour guide should’ve had a flag or worn specific clothing. My friend and I are still waiting for a refund.
The city tour was competent and very informative, entertaining and fun. The technology worked well and the guide was easy to understand. The pace of the tour was appropriate. The subsequent gondola ride was somewhat shortened and not the route as advertised but quite okay.

The guide was dificult to keep up with and quite difficult to understand. The guide had no interest in assisting us with the next part of our booking - the Gondola ride. THe booking dstated that we had a 2.5 hour experience. It actually turned out to be about one hour in the Basicila follwed by a 3.5 hour gap before a 20 minute gondola ride. Nowhere were we informed that this gap existed - I had to ring hte service number to speak to a representative who informed me tha thte gondola ride was taking place miud afternoon. This required us to rearrange our plans for our group of 10 people for hte remainder of the day.
